Overview

The 2010 Ford Super Duty F-350 is a one-ton pick-up truck with outstanding work capacity and innumerable functional features. The F-350 comes in Regular Cab, Super Cab (extended cab), and Crew Cab body styles. For 2010, the Super Duty F-350 lineup offers an unparalleled variety of cab styles and tow/payload capacities mean Super Duty customers can configure exactly the truck they need; by grouping that variety into a handful of full-featured packages. A new Cabela's trim level is new for 2010. The F-350 features not only a unique two-tone paint scheme, but specially embossed interior features and ? for the avid outdoor enthusiast - additional lockable storage perfect for keeping equipment secure and out of sight. All four Super Duty trim levels - XL, XLT, Cabela's and Lariat - come with a host of standard features for 2010, from air conditioning, SecuriLock and power-heated trailer tow mirrors to privacy glass, an integrated trailer brake controller and remote keyless entry.

Powertrain And Performance

The 2009 Super Duty F-350 is available in three engine types the standard 5.4-liter V8 that makes 300 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque; an optional 362-horsepower 6.8-liter V10; and another optional 350-horsepower 6.4-liter PowerStroke turbodiesel V8 which is ideal for serious hauling and towing. Transmission choices include a standard six-speed manual and an available five-speed automatic with either a two-wheel or four-wheel drive setup. Properly equipped, an F-350 Super Duty can tow up to 15,000 pounds (non-fifth-wheel trailering) and handle a 5,700-pound payload.

Build And Styling

Standard amenities on the F-350 XL include 17-inch steel wheels; vinyl front bench seat with recline feature; removable tailgate with key lock and tailgate assist; bumpers; sealed-beam jewel-effect headlamps; partitionable and stackable pick-up box with pick-up box tie-down hooks; and cargo area light; solar tinted glass; secondary glove box storage; and AM/FM stereo/digital clock with two speakers. All other trim levels include cruise control; auxiliary audio input jack; power windows with one-touch down driver-window feature; tilt steering wheel; power door locks; dual-beam jewel-effect headlamps; privacy glass; and AM/FM stereo/single-CD player with MP3 capability, digital clock, and four speakers. The FX4 and plush Lariat feature 17-inch aluminum wheels. Optional packages include the new Cabela's package; King Ranch package; Trailer Tow package; Chrome package; and the unique Ford Harley-Davidson package.
